✈️ It is with immense joy that I announce that my piece “I am never anywhere / anywhere I go” for spatialized trio and sound object will take on a new life in New York at the @mata_festival , performed by @blackboxnewmusic on May 23 at the @thedimennacenter . I can’t find the words to describe how thrilled I am to see this little bit of madness take on a new form, alongside other fascinating works by other composers. The work explores musical identity of traditional music shaped through timbre, techniques and materials translated into a contemporary language. This piece is part of an ongoing creative path in which I investigate sound, heritage and tradition, in a process that continues to evolve through new collaborations.
